Nutcracker Syndrome (NCS) is a rare condition characterized by entrapment of the left renal vein. Symptoms include blood in the urine along with flank and abdominal pain. Individuals with NCS may also experience 'pelvic congestion' causing various pelvic symptoms. Treatment may include surgery.
