What is pudendal nerve entrapment?

Pudendal nerve entrapment (PNE) is a condition in which the nerve in the pelvic region is tethered by fascia and is constrained by nearby muscles or ligaments. As a result, injury is caused to the nerve and pain is felt in the anal, perineum, scrotum, penis, vulva and clitoris.
