What is pheochromocytoma?

Pheochromocytoma is a rare tumor of the adrenal gland (triangle shape glands located on top of the kidneys). The tumor increases the hormones (epinephrine and norepinephrine) that regulate the heart rate, metabolism, and blood pressure. Some symptoms include: headaches, sweating,and heart pounding.
